Microsoft has experienced its best year under the leadership of Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft. Microsoft collected $23 billion in revenues this year and made several acquisitions. This strong financial growth under Nadya’s command and has helped Nadya earn a 29% rise in his salary package. It was revealed that Microsoft is going to use LinkedIn’s performance as the key factor to evaluate how much Nadella along with other top executives in the corporation will be paid. This stress upon Linkedin alone shows the importance of LinkedIn to Microsoft. Linkedin was acquired by Microsoft in 2016 by paying $27 billion. The mobile app performance software HeadSpin has raised Series B funding worth of $20 million today and is expecting to double its revenues in 2018. Investors such as ICONIQ Capital, EQT Ventures and Battery Ventures participated in the funding, joined by other investors such as GV, Danhua Capital, Telstra Ventures, NextWorld Capital, and Nexus Ventures Partners. According to VentureBeat, the infused cash will be used to address the demands of the customers and to grow the company’s workforce.

According to a statement by ICONIQ co-founder Will Griffith, HeadSpin’s performance has been outstanding as a startup company and has appealed the majority of the key players in the mobile world. The mobile app software company has already become the benchmark for other companies in the mobile world, becoming the fastest growing software companies ever seen.
